Our Reason
BookBridge started when I realized my AP European History textbook would be useless after my class ended. Instead of letting it collect dust, I wanted to find a way to repurpose it. Many students lack access to quality textbooks, while others have plenty going to waste. This inspired me to create a system to collect and redistribute these books. By doing so, we can bridge the gap between surplus and need.
Our team gathers gently used textbooks from high school students and donates them to orphanages and homeschooled learners. This ensures valuable educational materials reach those who need them most. Through BookBridge, we reduce waste while expanding learning opportunities. Every book donated has the potential to shape a student’s future. Our goal is to make education more accessible, one textbook at a time.
